Solution pdf

Force:

It is the pull or push on an object. Its SI unit is Newton.

Balanced Force:

When two equal and opposite forces act on an object that does not change the state of the object is called balanced force.

Unbalanced Force:

When two unequal and opposite forces act on an object which results in the change in its state is called an unbalanced force.

First Law of Motion:

If an object is in the state of motion or rest it will remain in the state of motion or rest until an external force is applied to it.It is also known as the Law Of Inertia.

Inertia:

It is the tendency of an object to resist the change in its state.

Mass:

It is the measure of inertia of an object.

Second Law of Motion:

It defines the amount of external force required to change the state of an object. It states that the applied force is directly proportional to the rate of change in momentum in the direction of the force.

Momentum:

It shows the impact of the collision of an object. Mathematically, it is defined as the product of mass and velocity. Its SI unit is kg-m/s.

Third Law Of Motion:

It states that “every action has an equal and opposite reaction”.

Conservation Of Momentum:

This law states that the momentum of an object before the collision is equal to the momentum after the collision if no other external force acts.
